hey guys you all know that i am a quiet person when it comes to talking about other stuff and well to tell you guys the truth i am listening just to let yall know. so if you guys hav any thing to ask me about i will try to tell you but yes i have problems to and if you will come to me and ask me about what problems i have then i will tell you.

David, I know a little about the problems you've faced - between what you've shared with us, what Gary has told me, and what I observe on my own. I don't think it's by chance that a striking number of our members have struggled with the exact same things. I'm sure you know who they are and have talked with them. That's good. I'd encourage that. But I'd also encourage you to share it also with the adults. Maybe you'd feel most comfortable with Gary, since the two of you already have that going on. And I can assure you with no doubt that Gary really loves you, as do all of us.
About these issues: I commented on Ryan's post about how much I loved the diversity of our youth group. Going along with that, I'm starting to become aware of how much PROBLEM diversity we have. To be honest, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Well, obviously these problems are not "good", but I do think it's significant that God has these problems at Calvary. These are the kinds of issues that books are written about. And here they are in the Calvary Baptist church youth group, challenging two OBU students, a 40-year-old volunteer, a 23-year-old who's still not sure what the heck God wants to do with him, and a group of ordinary teenagers. But, hey, that's how God works.
