BACK TO SKOOL BASH!
I cant wait till the after school bash on Saturday!I mean its food and swimming and...AH! Oh and about Brazil,I'm not goin to just skate,God is directing me there and I will get there.We need to get some digital cameras so we can show the whole church pictures of the b2sb.We need to gang up on j.d and throw him in the pool!Whos with me?I think that we are goin to have a blast.Everyone check out my xanga:www.xanga.com/flyin_angel_of_light7 . Not sure if throwing JD in the pool will be nessecary since he'll probably already be in it. You on the other hand better watch out.
I'm glad you're wanting to go to Brazil and I believe you want to go for the right reasons. But there's a lot about it that you don't understand. This project is a big deal and it's not for everybody. A lot of maturity, responsibility, and flexability is requried.
I have seen you mature a lot over the past several months and I believe that you can continue to mature ever more over the course of this year. I believe that you can get to a point that'll you be prepared for this trip if God really wants you to go. But you have to be serious about it - about becoming who God wants you to be. It's not something that just happens.
This goes for everybody who wants to go. Bro. Lowrie is very cautious about taking teenagers on this trip, and he has a right to be. It's not just about your safety, it's also about whether or not you will be a problem. It's crucial that no team member behaves in a way that distracts from the work being done - whether it be in doing something major or just by complaining about not getting your way. And I definatly wouldn't want anyone from OUR church to behave like this. So if you're truly interested in going, pray that God will prepare you for it.
And if you're not interested in going, pray that God will mature you anyway, 'cause that's always something you should be seeking.

By the way, Ben, link us to your Xanga site from your profile. It's easy to do. Anybody else who has a Xanga or MySpace or something along those lines and hasn't linked us to it in your profile, please go ahead and do that. Also, if you haven't done much with your profile, such as giving us a little info about yourself or adding a photo (preferably a photo of yourself instead of a graphic or avatar), please do that too. It's a good way to help make our blog better and more personal.
