We all had a good time, I think. I have to say, though, that I was surprised at who did and didn't ride the big rides. Some of you guys who I thought would be right there with me riding everything wasn't. That's okay - it just surprised me is all.
We should have some pictures up here just as soon as I can get them from Jovanna.
It was kinda weird how we started with us all in one group, about 12 people, and then it dwindled down to just Ryan and I at one point. I know several others ended up in small groups. (though Gary always had a large crowd. He be popular *Paparazzi snaps pictures of him from behind the bushes*)
Though I was sad not being able to spend more time with Ben. =(
It seems like if I spend time with Ryan then Ben says something about it, but then it's vice versa if I spend time with Ben. *Is confused now, so spends time with Jason and Marissa instead xD*
Oh!! *Random moment* My gosh, Marissa is awesome!! *Spoons are cool ^_^*
-Well, I think that there were two really awesome things, and two really not-so great things about Magic Springs.
I'll do worst to greatest, because I like happy endings! lol.
Well, honestly, Magic Springs is SCARY. And I'm not even talking about the rides. The rides were great. I'm talking about the people there. If I got 3 feet away from Ryan there was always some guy staring at me. I felt like such an annoying person being glued to Ryan the whole day (Sowwy.. U_U), but if I wasn't then there was always some 30 year old guy grabbing my hair or just stare at me. I understand if they stare at my hair, I mean, it IS long after all. But that's not what they were always looking at. And that really bothered me, I just tried to ignore it but then it got worse.
I mean, while I was in the line for one of the rides some dude just stared at me and asked for my phone number. That's all he said to me.
Then in the pool a bunch of black guys kept grabbing my hair and laughing about how it looks like a snake in water. It kind of does, and it was funny at first. But then they wouldn't let me get past them and so I had to wait for them to stop laughing about it and move on.
I'm sorry, but the staring, weird questions, people grabbing me, touching me - I really hated that.
I don't mind the Mother with the 4-year-olds that wanted me to show them my hair. That's okay, even though I felt like a museum.
But the other stuff. Yuck.
I'm already terrified of people, I don't need to be reminded. =P
Oh man, and what was up with that dude following Marissa around?!? (Jaaaason, you should have stuffed him in a trash can! xD)
Well, the second and last bad thing (we'll get to da good stuff in a minute, I promise! ^_^) was the wave pool. And that was what I was really looking forward to!
I have been trapped underwater before and I nearly drown. That was bad enough, but then no one believed that I nearly drown because they never saw it happen. So that freaked me out even more at the time.
(I think I have safety issues here people! LOL! =P )
No mater how hard I try to enjoy water again, I just can't. I get a stress headache, get weak and feel ill. And there were weirdos talking to me in the pool yesterday, too. I just wanted to run out of that pool and hold on to the ground for an hour. I'm so friggin scared of water even though I REALLY want to like it again.
I don't think I want to try the whole public pool thing ever again.. hehe.

Okay, now for the good stuffs!
I loved all of the water rides (Water = Good. Deep water = Crumminess). The ride where you splash the people on the bridge - that was cool. And the log ride was so fun!! Even though Ryan was practically sitting in my lap with that ride (I'm sitting in front next time!). But that was part of what made that ride so much fun! *laughs* ^_^
The twisty one with the little cars.. It must die. =P Lauren kept saying how much the ride hurt, but I thought she was just being whiny again. I didn't realize that it really DID hurt! O_O' *Makes note to listen to Lauren more often*
The roller coaster, old john or whatever it was called, that was pretty nice. Ohh but man I wish I have gotten the picture of that ride with Ben, Ryan, Steven and I on it. That was awesome. I'm bringing more money next time..
Other than that I don't think I went on many of the other rides. Though there were the swings. lol. Ooooh, they made me so dizzy, but it was fun!
And as wimpy as it sounds, my favorite ride was the pirate ship. No it didn't go around on a track or scare the heck out of me. But I liked the way it felt, and I loved watching the faces of the people on the other side of the boat!
But my absolute favorite part was just being with you guys from the youth group! If I had been with some other group I probably would have just asked to go home. lol. But it was a blast being with you cwazy awesome folk. ^__^
"...tommorrw is gonna be awesome!!! Well I'm gonna ride everything except the kittie rides. I'll let shaun ride those with J.D!"
Hmm...who said this? That's right, Ben Ferrell! It was you! And who was it that tagged along with me on all the big rides? JD! That's right, he rode everything!
Well, it's okay, dude. It's understandable. I was just lookin forward to running around with ya is all.
