}{ey guys, I have an idea to send your way, and we'll see if we have any takers:
How would you like it if every, or maybe every other Saturday we play some video games as a youth group? I mean like across the internet with each other. I can scrounge around the net during the week and grab a good free multiplayer game or demo (you'd be surprised how many there are,) download it, burn some copies to CDs and then hand 'em out to you guys when Wednesday rolls around. I have DSL so it's really no problem for me to get those really huge and very cool games/demos, plus I could host the game too so maybe the lag wouldn't be too bad.
I have several games in mind, such as:
America's army (Completely free full version game)
Unreal 2004 multiplayer demo (Tons of fun)
Alien VS Predator 2 Multi player demo (heh, perhaps a bit messy for an official church game, we will have to see, but I think I know of at least one person who would enjoy a little spear gun toting, wrist-blade flexing action)
Medal of Honor Demo (WW2 action)
Ground control (full version free RTS game)/Ground control 2 demo (real-time strategy game)
Tribes (free full version game. You have jetpacks, what more needs be said?)
C&C Renegade Multi-player demo (Loads of fun as well, FPS)
And bunches more. Yes, by the way, these are all completely legal free games. No warez (illegal copies.)

Hey, awesome idea. Should be fun.
If it runs on my old commpy I'll play a game with the group. =)
Where's Ben? He will probably want to play as well! ^_^
*Sobs* Me don't have no X-box... *Hugs her Game Cube*
How many people can play on one x-box? Was it 4?
Has anybody played "Peasant's Quest" at Homestarrunner.com? lol. Now that's a game!
Ohh!! Yeah, I think played that..
I'm still disturbed. LOL
That site has also got those StrongBad emails. They are... Unique. To say the least. =P
