Ice Skating thoughts... =P

Hey guys!

It sure has been quiet on the blog here lately. What have you all been up to?
I don't know about you guys, but I am so sore from our Ice Skating trip! O_O I've been taking tiny baby steps since Saturday because of my legs being so sore. I don't know if they're hurting from the skating or the falling, either way, I must be out of shape or something! =P I think I must have fallen second most(JD taking the trophy for most falls, of course), I got a great close up of that ice five times. ^_^
Unfortunately I don't have any horror stories of how my flesh got ripped off of my bones from falling or anything like that...
Eww...
But my hand did get pretty messed up the time that I fell right after hanging on to Jason's poor jacket (lol, Sorry about that). I had reached out my hand to break my fall, but at the time I was wearing a bracelet that Mrs. Javonna had given me. So instead of hitting just ice, my metallic bracelet was caught in the middle and when I landed it got smashed into pieces (Never did find all of the pieces).
Oh, not to mention that my hand was bleeding, but that's just a minor drawback. =P I didn't even notice my hand was bleeding until a few minutes after getting back up. lol.

Overall I had a pretty good time for a first try. I couldn't Rollerblade forward (I tended to somehow skate backwards in those things), but I really enjoyed the Ice Skating even though I got pretty beat up from it. It got enjoyable right after I finally let go of that rail and started skating solo. I realized that it made no difference if I was next to the rail or not, I was still going to fall. So I figured I might as well enjoy falling on the side of skating rink instead of by the rail with the little 6 year olds. lol!

Oh, speaking of 6 year olds, while I was skating I saw a little girl all by her self. I went up to her and I noticed that she was crying, so I asked what was wrong. She told me that she couldn't find her parents, so I helped her find them. After she left I didn't think much of it and just continued skating.
Later that night after my Mother had picked me up from Church she told me that she needed to buy some cat food at Wal-mart (Poor kittys were living off of cheese for a day *Sniffle*). After we had bought it and we were walking out to out car I passed a little girl, she waved at me and then I realized who she was. It was the same girl that I had tried to help earlier that day.
It just struck me that we both crossed paths at the skating rink in Little Rock, then again in a location two hours drive away, in Hope.
I still don't know quite what that meant, or why it happened. But I thought it was pretty interesting. =)

Anyway! What did you guys think about the trip? I didn't get the impression that Ryan enjoyed it terribly much, he seemed happier in the van then anywhere else. ;P
Oohh, the van ride... I don't even know if I want to comment on that part of the trip! lol =P

Yeah, it has been quiet here on the blog. I think it's just a weekend thing - and since we were all gone on Saturday, I didn't expect much action to be going on here then. Hopefully, everybody will get back into the swing of things soon, even though it is spring break.

Anyway, yeah, this weekend was darn good fun. Hopefully I'll get some pictures posted up here soon.

I fell only twice. JD might have fallen the most, but I think the award for most painful-to-watch fall should go to Shaun. The award for shortest-time-spent-on-the-ice goes to Ben for his one minute attempt. Ryan comes in second on that one.

As for the little girl, I don't know about that one. It's an interesting story. I think Gary said something about a group from Spring Hill being there. Maybe she was in that group.

Yeah, I had fun skating (ice skating that is) 'cause I did not fall on the ice but I did fall roller skating & that hurt.

Whaterver, happened on the van must not have been verry good.lol! In the car it was just fine 'cause 2/5 of the car was asleep & the rest of us talked on the walkie talkies

Hey Sarah! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the Ice Skating. You seemed a bit tired, so I couldn't tell if you liked it or not. I'm happy to know that it was a positive experience (except for the falling on the Rollerblades part). ;)

Aww, Ben, I'm not THAT scary... Or, am I? *Sad puppy eyes expression* =P
And yeah, you were rockin' on those Rollerblades! I figured you were good, but I had no idea you were that good! O_O;
Ever been in a rollerblading competition or anything like that? 'Cause you'd probably win! ^_^
